Delivery

The equipment will be delivered to you after you’ve purchased it or signed a Rent–Try–Buy agreement and paid the upfront costs.

Depending on the equipment’s location, we can ship it to your business within 5–25 days.

Delivery will be arranged by SilverChef using a third-party transportation company; the carrier will schedule a delivery appointment with you.

Delivery is curbside only, so you’ll need to ensure you have the right equipment or enough manpower to get the unit into your business safely.

(If the equipment’s located close to your business, you may be able to pick it up instead, subject to you making an appointment.)

Installation

The equipment rental does not include installation, which customers are required to arrange at their own cost.

Please check the equipment’s size to ensure it will fit into the area you’ve set aside for it at your business.

Also, please confirm the equipment’s electrical rating or gas type is suitable for your business.

Just to be sure, it’s recommended you consult a professional before placing your order.

Warranty

We warrant our ‘Certified Used’ equipment for 90 days.

If it develops a covered fault within that timeframe, please call us at 1–844–283–7844.

We’ll help you organize a free repair. If the equipment can’t be repaired in a reasonable timeframe, we’ll help arrange a replacement or upgrade.

Once the equipment is out of warranty, customers are expected to cover any maintenance and repair costs.

Returns

If your situation has changed or the rental equipment no longer meets your business’s requirements, you may be able to return it to us.

You’ll need to inform us four weeks in advance of your intention to return the rental equipment.

Customers are responsible for transporting the rental equipment to the return address and the cost for a third party to clean and service the returned equipment so it can be remarketed.
